Race to map the Japan coastline first ever. In the 1st phase everyone takes turn either placing an action card on a row of the board, or claiming all cards laid on a row and passing for the rest of the round. After everyone has claimed cards, players take actions of the claimed cards from row to row, column to column. What action card would you place, and at which row and column? When would you claim cards before taken by others? Building relationship with the Government gives you quick advantage but it’s reset every 2 years; improving your artistic skills is slow but stays for life. Travel distance gives you immediate victory points, but without Government relations and artistic skills you won’t achieve much in the end. What types of actions would you do?
